EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) training in VR

ABOUT THE PROJECT

I created three static environments in Unity for the client’s beta version of their training software. Upon entering the “Lobby”, users can explore learning material by accessing training modules from the interface/dashboard and also safely explore within a limited radius using a VR headset.

MADE FOR

Designed for military personnel to be trained in neutralizing explosive weapons. Oculus Quest

MOODBOARD

I designed the layout with the user’s field of view in mind to be able to focus on what’s essential and, most importantly, have a good framerate.

The two rooms will later be filled with small and larger objects like ordnances, missiles, artilleries, grenades etc as part of the Training modules.

The project consisted of:

Designing and Planning–  Mood board, 3d Blockout, and layout in Unity.
Delivery– Creating models, textures, asset integration, and lighting.

External assets:

The Fountain: Link
Trees: Link
MRAP Vehicle- provided by the client.
